Inspired by the snacks-before-dinner ritual — this is salty, zesty, and totally grown-up. Like a martini without the commitment. A whisper of gin, but still soft and gentle.

Ingredients

  • ½ oz gin (or juniper tea for zero-proof)

  • 2 oz soda water

  • ½ oz olive brine

  • ½ oz lemon juice

  • 1 tsp honey or simple syrup

  • Ice


Instructions

Step 1

Shake gin, brine, lemon, and honey with ice.


Step 2

Strain into glass and top with soda.


Step 3

Garnish with a lemon twist and olive.


Tips

  • Zero-proof: Use chilled juniper berry tea or nonalcoholic gin

  • Add a splash of tomato juice for a briny riff

  • Try with rosemary or thyme syrup for herbal twist

  • Perfect with tapas, cheese boards, or stuffed grape leaves
