About the Recipe
I started making this in the dead of winter, and now it’s my go-to for any quiet night in. The maple syrup softens the bourbon, the bitters round it out, and it’s all warmth from there.

Ingredients
2 oz bourbon
0.5 oz maple syrup
2 dashes aromatic bitters
Ice
Instructions
Step 1
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice.
Step 2
Stir until well-chilled.
Step 3
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
Tips
Use smoked maple syrup for more depth
Garnish with an orange twist for brightness
