About the Recipe
This is my “gentle reset” drink — the one I make after a long day when I need to transition into something slower and softer. It’s floral, fizzy, and just sweet enough, with a pastel hue that makes the whole moment feel special. I like to sip this at sunset with soft background music and an open window.

Ingredients
1 oz gin or elderflower liqueur (or lavender syrup for mocktail)
½ oz lemon juice
½ oz honey or simple syrup
3 oz sparkling water
A few drops of food-grade lavender extract or a lavender sprig
Ice
Instructions
Step 1
Combine all ingredients (except sparkling water) in a shaker with ice.
Step 2
Shake gently and strain into a glass with fresh ice.
Step 3
Top with sparkling water and stir lightly.
Tips
Zero-proof: Use lavender syrup + lemon + soda — or add a splash of kombucha.
Color fun: Add a tiny drop of butterfly pea flower extract for a dreamy dusk hue.
Flavor boost: Swap lemon for yuzu or blood orange juice.
Pair with: Light salads, sunset chats, or an open sketchbook.
Serving Tips
Glass: Stemless wine glass or coupe
Garnish: Lavender sprig or lemon twist
Vibe: Window-side seating, notebook open, calm playlist on loop
