Inbox Zero

Perfect for the rare and sacred moment your inbox is actually cleared

About the Recipe

There’s a unique kind of euphoria that comes with seeing no unread messages. Inbox Zero is crisp, zesty, and a little bubbly — just like that feeling of momentary digital peace. I made this after archiving 246 emails and then immediately turned on Do Not Disturb.

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz gin (or white grape juice for zero-proof)

  • ½ oz lemon juice

  • ½ oz rosemary syrup (or simple syrup + sprig of rosemary)

  • Splash of soda or tonic water

  • Ice

Instructions

Step 1

Shake gin, lemon, and syrup with ice.

Step 2

Pour into glass over ice, top with soda or tonic, and stir.

Tips

  • Zero-proof: White grape juice + lemon + rosemary + tonic = A+.

  • Make it spicy: Add a thin slice of jalapeño or a dash of black pepper.

  • Rosemary syrup hack: Just simmer rosemary, sugar, and water 1:1:1 for 5 mins.

  • Pair with: Cleaned-up inbox, cleared calendar, and freshly brewed confidence.

Serving Tips

Glass: Lowball or crystal tumbler

Garnish: Rosemary sprig or lemon wheel

Vibe: Fresh-start energy, email-free zone, subtle smugness
