The Ginger Harvest Mule is a spicy fall twist on the classic mule. Apple cider blends with ginger beer and lime, with vodka or bourbon for cocktail lovers. A refreshing but cozy fall cocktail or mocktail recipe that’s equal parts orchard-fresh and fiery.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz apple cider

  • ½ oz lime juice

  • 2 oz vodka or bourbon (optional)

  • Ginger beer, to top

  • Ice

Instructions

Step 1

Fill a copper mule mug with ice.


Step 2

Pour in apple cider, lime juice, and vodka or bourbon (skip vodka or bourbon if making a mocktail).


Step 3

Top with ginger beer.


Step 4

Stir gently to combine.


Step 5

Garnish with an apple slice and/or cinnamon stick if desired.

  • Mocktail? Skip the spirit — cider + ginger beer stand strong.
