The Cinnamon Ember, or Cinnamon Maple Highball, is a simple, strong fall drink. Maple syrup adds sweetness, a cinnamon stick infuses spice, and whiskey (or NA whiskey) gives backbone. A warming fall cocktail or mocktail that feels both rustic and refined.

2 oz bourbon or NA whiskey
½ oz maple syrup
1 cinnamon stick
