Chai Not Sorry

Perfect for quiet creative nights, crafting, or that deep-cleaning session you’ve been putting off

About the Recipe

Chai Not Sorry is what I reach for when I want warmth with a little edge. It’s basically chai, but with a twist — espresso martini energy meets warm spice. Whether you’re writing, tidying, or catching up on your favorite drama, this drink makes the night feel rich and intentional.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz strong chai tea (steeped and cooled)

  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (or 1 oz cold brew for mocktail)

  • 1 oz milk of choice (oat, almond, or whole all work)

  • ½ tsp maple syrup or brown sugar

  • Dash of cinnamon or nutmeg

  • Ice

Instructions

Step 1

Shake all ingredients with ice until frothy and cold.

Step 2

Strain into a short glass over ice.

Step 3

Sprinkle with spice on top.

Tips

  • Zero-proof: Swap liqueur for cold brew or coffee concentrate.

  • Milk swap: Try condensed milk for a sweet Thai tea vibe.

  • Iced or warm: It works both ways — stir instead of shake if you prefer it hot.

  • Pair with: Podcasts, planner time, or a late-night baking session.

Serving Tips

Glass: Rocks or double old-fashioned

Garnish: Pinch of cinnamon or chocolate shavings

Vibe: Focused but comfy — think “me time” with a mission
